Any of you miss me out there?
It’s been a while since my last confession…erh…I mean…last post….
I’ve had quite a bit going on around these here part. First, I had to have oral surgery – sounds lovely doesn’t it. Nothing spectacular, but surgery all the same. I really hate being put to sleep – actually suggested they keep me awake! Luckily, they didn’t listen and I survived the surgery just fine. I’m recovering nicely and the best thing is today I got to drink out of a straw once again – HELLO SONIC DIET DR. PEPPER!
So, anyway, enough about me. I have a huge personal post coming soon. For now, though, it’s the Rhea Family’s sneak peek!
It all started when I received a call from Heather a few weeks back. She told me how her dad was retiring from being a college math professor (YES, I said MATH!) after MANY MANY years and how she wanted to do something really special for him. It’s a holiday weekend and I had scheduled it off….a much needed break to spend with family…just like the rest of you. BUT, I just couldn’t resist helping Heather out with such a cool gift.
You see, I totally believe in the power of photos. He’ll look back on this in a few years and be so happy we were able to take them. Almost as important though, his children and grandchildren will have them, too. They will treasure these photos for years and years to come…
We agreed the best place to take the shots was on the campus where he’d spent so many years teaching. I have to say, he’s a pretty cool guy. I only wish I’d had him as a math professor back in school. Math is the only class I had to RE-TAKE!
Here’s the building that houses his office…we couldn’t resist a wave good-bye.
