Come on, everybody sing it…
You know you want to.
Today was our 5th snow day (home from school). I’m running out of things to do. I can only feed them so much junk food, let them watch so many 3D movies, and lock them in the bedroom for so long.
Not to worry, I did let them out of the house today for a bit. It wasn’t quite as cold as last week, but that’s not sayin’ much. Lemme tell ya. Besides, EVERYONE has snow clothes except Mom. Why is that?
What I thought would be a QUICK walk to the mailbox and back turned into a SLEDDING adventure. While playing with a raft near our house, they saw me heading that way, decided to follow, and the rest is history…
What was I supposed to say? It’s the only hill we have. It just happens to lead into the street. At any rate, I felt the need to hang around. AND, luckily, I had my camera.
Don’t worry. I watched for cars, but the only people who came our way were these fellas. At first, I was pretty excited to see them, but then I realized they weren’t actually sanding. Apparently, our street isn’t quite important enough…
Then, Daddy pulled in from work and had to join in the fun before we all headed back to the house for hot chocolate.
Now, what to do with them tomorrow.
Snow Day #6.
